Dream West – Alison Mitton

‘Dream West’ is an ongoing series. It is a combination of the world I am a part of, and the way I imagine the world should always be.

I started shooting this series between a stretch of land from northern New South Wales to the outer west. I was looking for a way to capture the openness and beauty of these unique Australian landscapes, using the beautifully awkward and youthful nudes to further portray how young, untamed, and free we are as a nation.

Having traveled to so many places around the world, these particular locations I grew up around are still the most inspiring to me.
