The series Vacant, explores the possibilities inherent in the creation of mood and understanding of purpose for architectural spaces available within the controls of population and lighting.

By shooting spaces void of human presence, coupled with very specific lighting parameters, I have attempted to remove the original purpose for each location and create an open but directed canvas from which further possibilities, narratives or moods can be experienced. It is envisaged that the viewer will be able to develop their own narrative or dialogue based upon the offered location specifics and varied personal experiences.
