These images are part of a recent solo exhibition of work shown at the Alliance Francaise Gallery in Sydney. The photographs were taken while travelling overland south from Morocco along the edge of the Sahara Desert and through French West Africa.
This personal photographic project focuses on the different occupations of the local people and the rich colour of their immediate environment. Using Velvia film stock I tried to capture the strong colours of the dramatic landscape and also illustrate just how much the West African people were an integral part of their surroundings.

Jeremy has been freelancing as a first assistant and studio manager for six years now. Working in the UK, USA, Canada and for the past few years here in Sydney, he has worked with some of the best advertising and fashion photographers in the industry. When not assisting, Jeremy shoots the odd advertising job, slowly making the break to full-time commercial photographer. Constantly building on his current portfolio, he hopes to shoot larger advertising work over he next year with a strong emphasis on location and car photography.
