A number of Projections 08 finalists and commitee members have recently had their work profiled in the media or been been involved in a range of fantastic and prestigous courses around the world. Here’s a quick roundup of some of the great things going on.
08 finalists Michael Kai and Wren were both featured in editions of Australia Creative – providing them both with amazing exposure to the creative and advertising industries.
08 finalist Rodney Dekker was accepted to the prestigous Eddie Adams Workshop in New York. You can see some of his work including video shot on a new 1DmkII here and a soundlides production entitled The Boxer here. He’s now travelling and shooting in India and Bangladesh so we look forward to seeing his images on his return.
Commitee member Anna Warr has also been busy and recently travelled to the USA to complete the Digital Journalist Platypus workshop which provides awesome multimedia training for photographers. Anna’s still finalising her project but we’ll link from here once it’s out in the wild.
Finally, the awesome People’s Choice 08 winner Gemma Rose Turnbull has been off doing the hugely respected Missouri Photo Workshop which included tutorial by the Director of Photography for National Geographic, David Griffin. You can see Gemma’s lovely work here.
