POOL grant

Created by Sean Izzard and Simon Harsent, The Pool is a collective of photographers, including Danny Eastwood and Chris Ireland, who share the common aim of creating world-class photography whilst inspiring and contributing to the wider community through visual art.

Creativity and collaboration is actively encouraged between all Pool artists and a strong emphasis is placed upon nurturing the development of new talent.

The Pool is proud to partner Projections 2010 and offer the first Pool Grant – a $10,000 grant awarded to assist a photographer to research, create and produce a photographic project of their choice. The resulting work will be shown at Projections 2011.
