The make.believe Category

The make.believe category, sponsored by Sony, is a new single entry category of the Projections Competition.

In order to enter this category, entrants must create an image that captures the brand message of make.believe, which is about turning dreams into reality – taking an ordinary world, and transforming it into something extraordinary. Whether it’s the building of products, or imagining what you can do with them, Sony has and always will be known as a company that makes things possible.

The idea of this category is to give young and emerging photographers the opportunity to adopt a “meeting the brief” approach to creating an image, similar to what you would do when shooting an advertising job. So if you are already putting in an entry for Projections 2010, why not enter the make.believe category as well? Our major sponsor Sony has put together a $5,000 prize package for the winner of this category. So give it a go – you’ve got to be in it to win it!
